Acrylic on glass. This was an experiment. The result of using glass for a canvas was that the acrylic acted like oil. I had a lot of fun with this one.

I must say that I prefer this painting much more than the reverse side painted on glass! The reverse image looked rather like a monster version of this painting. Cool idea, though!

Glass? Good idea, should try this some time. diffuse, nearly surrealistic, but I love it!

Thanks, glad you like it. When I started this piece I was going for more of an abstract feel. It had a mind of it's own though. The erieness of demanded a more realistic touch. So it ended up somewhere between abstract and surreal.

I love this. :D The idea of beauty is so interesting. Artists always seem to give it a cool twist. This looks amazing.

Wow this is really haunting, I love the effect! What made you think of painting on glass if I may ask?

Thanks, this was an experiment to see how the paint would handle on glass. I have a project that I want to be multi layered and I thought glass would be the best way to do that.
